Supporting International Women’s Day, 2022
When we’re not selling paint, coatings and equipment, our Carbon Paint Centre team can frequently be found on the sports field (playing or spectating… depending on our energy levels!).
As sports enthusiasts, we’ve decided to mark International Women’s Day, 2022, by supporting women’s sport. This month we’ve made a donation to Tuam RFC‘s ladies’ team.
Carbon Paint Division Manager, Ken O’Grady, presented the donation to members of the women’s team who are preparing for an upcoming rugby tour in France.

Meanwhile, at Carbon Group‘s Cork site, our colleagues have also been celebrating International Women’s Day and recognising the theme of this year’s event: ‘Break the Bias’.
As part of our company’s efforts to raise awareness of the impetus behind International Women’s Day, we invited employees to a special coffee morning and fundraising cake sale. Funds raised by Carbon Group employees have been matched by the company, with all donations going to Cuanlee Refuge and the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
